Bowling Brook Mansion's 2,000 square foot rooftop patio sits atop the ballroom building, giving you and your guests views across our manicured grounds. The space comes fully lit for evening ceremonies, and since it's elevated, everyone has a clear view of your vows. We include white padded ceremony chairs so your guests stay comfortable, and the patio connects directly to the ballroom below, making your transition to cocktail hour.

If the weather becomes a concern, we will move your ceremony inside to either the Grand Ballroom or the mansion's first floor, depending on your guest count. You'll know you have a beautiful backup plan already in place.

The Grand Ballroom Brings Everyone Together

Step into 3,100 square feet of reception space where original architectural details meet modern comfort. Two fireplaces anchor the room, while five chandelier ceiling fans provide multiple lighting options to shift the mood from dinner to dancing. We include your Chiavari chairs, reception tables, and a built-in dance floor, so you're not paying extra for the essentials.

The ballroom's size means you can create distinct areas within one space. Set up your dinner tables on one side, leave room for mingling near the bar, and keep the dance floor open for later. Your day-of coordinator helps map out the best flow for your specific guest count.

Alternative Ceremony Sites Give You Options

Beyond the rooftop, we offer several ceremony locations across our nine acres. The Grove provides tree coverage for a more intimate feel. Our white gazebo creates a classic focal point. The water feature offers a peaceful backdrop. Each site comes with the same white, padded chairs and setup service, and your one-hour rehearsal helps you choose which spot feels right.

What's Included in Your Booking

When you book with us, you get exclusive use of the property for your event day. No other weddings, no shared spaces. Your five-hour window covers the ceremony through reception, with vendors and your wedding party arriving at noon to prepare. 

Your package includes our day-of vendor coordinator who manages logistics, our venue staff for support, all ceremony and reception furniture, and complete setup and breakdown. The Bridal Suite on the second floor provides you and your bridesmaids with a dedicated prep space featuring three stations for hair and makeup. The grooms have their own furnished den for getting ready.

Food, Bar, and Vendor Policies

Bowling Brook Mansion works with an approved list of caterers who know our spaces and can execute your vision smoothly. You choose the caterer that matches your style and budget. Bar services run exclusively through us, which means we handle the licensing, insurance, and trained bartenders. Our on-site parking handles your full guest list, and the lot sits close to both the mansion and ballroom entrances.

Your ceremony and reception booking includes five hours of event time, with vendors and the wedding party arriving at noon for preparation. Reception-only events receive four hours.

Can we bring in our own wedding vendors? 

You select your own vendors for everything except catering and bar service. We maintain an approved caterers list, and all bar services go through us exclusively.

What happens if it rains on our wedding day? 

We move your ceremony indoors to either the Grand Ballroom or the first floor of the mansion, depending on your guest count. Both spaces are already included in your booking.
