Every celebration starts with the right room. For intimate gatherings, our gorgeous 1,265 square foot space suits up to 80 guests and includes round guest tables, banquet tables for displays, and chiavari or white padded chairs. If you prefer a larger setting, the Grand Ballroom offers 3,100 square feet for dinner, toasts, and dancing, with two fireplaces and five chandelier ceiling fans that allow comfortable lighting and airflow. When the weather is kind, the 2,000 square foot lighted Rooftop Patio is a natural spot for cocktail time or late evening mingling as it overlooks the grounds. Your event also includes access to the first floor of the mansion, so guests can step into richly detailed rooms while you gather for photos and conversation.

Our property sits in Carroll County with quick access from Frederick County, which helps everyone get here without fuss. On site, you’ll have manicured lawns, scenic gardens for photos, and a tranquil water feature. Many couples like to slip out for a few portraits near the dock with its lighted double tier fountain, then head back inside to the party.

Service and Staffing During Your Event

You won’t be setting tables or moving chairs. The venue staff handle the complete setup and breakdown of tables and chairs in our 1,265 square foot event space. Event staff are on site to support the timeline you’ve planned with your caterer and other vendors, answer guest questions, and keep the flow smooth from welcome through goodbyes.

Food and  Beverage Approach

You have options. Bring your own food and soft beverages for a personal touch, or request professional catering. Catering is arranged through our approved caterers list. For beverages, bar service is available through Bowling Brook Mansion. Outside alcohol isn’t permitted due to licensing, and our team will coordinate bar details with you.

What is Included With Your Booking and What to Plan Separately

Included with your rental, you’ll have guest tables, banquet tables, Chiavari or white padded chairs, and eight high top tables with black covers, plus on site private parking. For slideshows or a short program, there is a 65 inch color TV and an 8 foot projector screen available. Plan your menu with our approved caterers or bring your own food and soft drinks. We’ll help you align staffing and bar service so everything works together.

Corporate and private events receive exclusive access to the mansion for the hours listed in the event contract.
